Based in San Leandro, American Air Conditioning Co. provides complete mechanical services, specializing in equipment repairs, replacements, specialty sheet metal, duct fabrication, pipefitting, plumbing and installation. We have contract customers in the East, North and South Bay counties as well as the Central Valley, Monterrey and Sacramento counties.
For 20 years, we operated as the service division of a large commercial mechanical construction company. In 1992, key personnel purchased the service division in order to operate as a service oriented small business.
We specialize in maintenance and service of facilities for a diversified customer base. Most of our clients have been serviced for over 20 years by American Air Conditioning. A growing portion of our business is derived from new construction for public and private institutions. We are a factory certified service vendor for Liebert environmental systems and for Johnson Controls Metasys building automation systems.

Reed Heathorn
With 20 years of experience in mechanical construction management, Reed Heathorn is devoted to excellence. He deeply values honesty and ensures tasks are done right the first time. When he's not in the office, he will usually be found biking Mount Diablo, boating with his five children (and six grandchildren), and debating theological controversies over a pint of local brewed beer.

Lisa Heathorn
A bright and vibrant personality, Lisa brings energy to the office. After a successful career in computer programming, followed by home schooling their five kids, Lisa joined AACPH full time in 2010. Her analytical background combined with her intuitive management style makes her an essential asset to the team.
